Staff Data Platform Software Engineer (Java Architect, Kafka, Kubernetes)

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Data Platform Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain innovative interactive high-performance solutions. This role focuses on scalability, reliability, and performance, working with large-scale data platforms including Kafka and Kubernetes. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Experience with streaming multiple systems
• Experience working with large-scale Kafka deployments
• Experience working in a DevOps environment
• Experience with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
