ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Production Service Engineer to support German customers. This role focuses on providing operational support, enabling seamless interactions with ServiceNow's cloud platform. The engineer will contribute to system administration, database management, DevOps operations, and troubleshooting, ensuring a stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Strong skills in Linux environments and Python/Bash are required.
Requirements
- Develop tools in Python, bash, and JavaScript.
- Drive enhancements and bugfixes for large-scale automation projects.
- Prepare new ServiceNow products for production readiness.
- Troubleshoot database backup/restore failures and perform database migrations.
- Participate in escalations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Troubleshoot system performance and benchmarks.
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
- Strong background in systems architecture and engineering.
- Solid understanding of database replication/high availability
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies.
