The Staff Site Reliability Engineer - Federal - 3rd Shift role at ServiceNow is a challenging opportunity for a highly technical engineer to maintain and develop the reliability, scalability, and performance of the ServiceNow cloud infrastructure. As a member of the SRE team, you will drive technical resolutions, combine software development, networking, and systems engineering expertise, and be empowered to make services better for customers.

Requirements

  • Passion for DevOps, Automation, and Scripting
  • Deep knowledge of Linux systems
  • Scripting automation at the enterprise level in various languages (preferably Python, JavaScript, Bash, or Go)
  • Expert-level database skills in administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Expertise in Observability and Monitoring of applications, services, and networks at scale
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure
  • Senior-level networking skills, IP addressing, and routing
  • Strong project management and technical leadership skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
