Staff Software Engineer - Backend (Persistence)

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Persistence organization. This role focuses on developing the core data platform for ServiceNow's AI Platform, enabling data accessibility, query capabilities, and scalability. The team collaborates with product managers to design and implement solutions, and contribute to the design of new features.

Requirements

• Leveraging AI in work processes.
• 6+ years of backend development with Java.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, TestNG).
• Understanding of software quality principles, including reliability, observability, and production readiness.
