Staff Software Engineer - RaptorDB Provisioning (backend)

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build PostgreSQL databases for production. This team focuses on reliability, scale, and high-quality software development, contributing to the company's AI-enhanced platform. They work within a collaborative, distributed team environment leveraging AI tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Expertise in managing and operating databases in production, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Experience in collaborating and negotiating with senior technical stakeholders.
• Linux experience including root cause analysis of issues.
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Ruby, Puppet, Jenkins, and CI/CD systems.
