Staff Software Engineer (Platform Access Controls)

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Platform Access Controls) to join their Security Core team. This role focuses on improving the security, performance, reliability, and scalability of their Platform Authorization Frameworks. The position involves designing and developing core authorization features, analyzing issues, and mentoring colleagues, utilizing AI for data analysis and automation. Requirements

• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Analytical and design skills.
• Ability to manage projects with material technical risk.
• 6+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
• Passion for JavaScript (backend) and the Web
