ServiceNow is seeking a Staff System Administrator to join their Global ServiceNow team in Germany. The role involves ensuring stable and scalable infrastructure, developing tools, and driving automation improvements to deliver operational support to German customers. The ideal candidate will work closely with the global team and focus on proactive incident prevention and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience building and maintaining Linux-based systems
- Substantial experience working on systems dealing with one or more relational Database technologies (MariaDB, Oracle, or PostgreSQL)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Database/system performance analysis, capacity sizing and optimization
- Familiarity with networking and storage concepts
- Solid understanding of database replication/high availability
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
