Staff System Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff System Engineer to provide seamless operational support to German customers. The role involves developing and maintaining infrastructure, leveraging Linux skills, and ensuring a stable and scalable IT environment. Responsibilities include system administration, database management, DevOps operations, and troubleshooting. This is an in-site, 6+ year experience for Linux environments.

Requirements

• Strong background in systems architecture and engineering
• Understanding of software infrastructure components (hardware, OS, virtualization, etc.)
• 6+ years’ experience building and maintaining Linux-based systems
• Substantial experience working on systems involving one or more Relational Database technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and strong database/system performance analysis
• Fluency in German and English (written and verbal)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
