System Engineer (IT)

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable IT System Engineer to join our Electronic Tolling Operations and Maintenance team in Bratislava. This role supports tolling infrastructure across Europe and requires a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to respond to critical system needs — anytime, anywhere.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
• Experience in system administration, application deployment or IT operations
• Familiarity with Linux environments, DBs and scripting
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and evolving system requirements
• Experience with monitoring systems and cloud platforms is welcomed
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
• Reliable and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
• Calm and effective under pressure, especially during emergencies
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Fluent in English
