The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, support, and management of the DATAMARK IT Infrastructure. This role encompasses all technical aspects of the environment, including design, configuration, operations, documentation, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of server, cloud, networking, security, monitoring, and application performance is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT systems field
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT Systems Engineer position
- Experience in networking and application-level operations
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)/ Azure Certification (preferred)
- VMWare Certification and Cisco Certification (preferred)
- Experience with and knowledge of operating systems and server solutions (Exchange, Office365, SQL, Virtual Desktop, IIS, AD).
- Experience with and knowledge of IT systems administration, Performance tuning and system monitoring
- Familiarity with IT systems administration, Performance tuning and system monitoring
- Experience with and knowledge of IT systems administration, Performance tuning and system monitoring
- Experience working in an ITIL environment
- Knowledge of ITIL Foundations certification (v3 or v4) (preferred)
- Experience using IT Service Management workflow systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Service Manager, etc. (preferred)
- Background of IT delivery in multiple industries and locations. Experience working in both matrix and pyramid organizations.
