Job description summary: We are looking for a Senior Application Support Specialist with experience in JAVA related applications and AWS. The ideal candidate should have ITIL knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Application support or similar IT role
  • Familiarity with all business functions required within an IT development/support team
  • Experience of supporting applications hosted in AWS
  • ITIL knowledge - Incident/Problem/Change/Release Management
  • Familiar with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Datadog, Splunk etc..
  • Technical experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, Oracle/PostGre/PLSQL, Core JAVA/J2EE, OOPS concepts, Middleware technologies etc..
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving, analytical mind, organising and time management skills
  • Knowledge of versioning/repositories like GitHub, SVN etc.
  • Knowledge in Airline domain is an added advantage
  • Nice to have experience in DevOps
  • Flexible to work in shifts, On-Call support on weekends
