Workplace Security Specialist - Deadline 18/08/25

This is a freelance position for a Workplace Security Specialist within a European Commission-compliant information systems environment. The role involves conducting security risk assessments, designing and implementing security solutions, integrating security technologies, ensuring information system confidentiality and integrity, and managing vulnerabilities. Candidate must possess a strong understanding of security standards and at least 3 years of experience in IT Security Risk Management.

Requirements

• Conducting security risk assessments in Digital Workplace context
• Diagnosing security-related and/or identity-related issues
• Designing and implementing solutions to mitigate security risks
• Integrating various security technologies
• Integrating end point and backend server/network infrastructure
• Provisioning of security studies with information system projects
• Security assessments of information systems
• Ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of Information Systems
• At least 1 year of knowledge of security standards applying to European Commission
• At least 3 years in IT Security Risk Management Methodology
• At least 3 years in IT Security Compliance Management
• At least 3 years experience in drafting security plans for information systems
• At least 3 years managing IT security vulnerabilities
• At least 1 year providing expert support to incident investigations
• At least 1 year knowledge of ServiceNow or equivalent tool
• At least 1 year knowledge of Confluence and Jira
• At least 1 year knowledge in ServiceNow or equivalent tool
