Application Portfolio Business Analyst

The Application Portfolio Business Analyst role involves leading efforts to cleanse and streamline the enterprise application portfolio inventory, driving alignment around data attributes and field definitions, and providing strategic support for Application Portfolio Management efforts. The role requires a coordinator and steward of the application inventory, ensuring that business unit portfolios are accurate, aligned, and actionable. The position involves managing application data for RTX Corporate team, providing IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices, and driving long-term strategic value from the portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in business data analysis, application/inventory management, or related technology roles
• Hands-on experience with APM tools (e.g., Planview Enterprise Architecture, ServiceNow)
• Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong understanding of enterprise application ecosystems and IT service line data structures
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; able to synthesize large datasets
