Business Analyst (New or Recent Graduate)

Business Analyst role involves providing expertise on Enterprise Monitoring platform and related solutions review, design, support and development for BMO Internal business users. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of computing programming, network concepts, and various monitoring solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Analyst or Math or equivalent experience
• Interest in computing programming ex JS, TypeScript, RESTful API
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent systems analysis skills with full development and application life-cycle model experience
• Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work with aggressive deadlines and to handle multiple responsibilities
• Knowledge of network concepts
• Good knowledge of JIRA, ServiceNOW CR and IR process, CMDB
• Good knowledge of ServiceNOW event management
• Good knowledge of AWS & Azure and certifications are preferred
• Good knowledge of PowerBI, Apptio
• Good knowledge of the financial services industry
• Knowledge of Dynatrace, AWS OpenSearch, ElasticSearch (ELK)., AWS CloudWatch logs and AWS CloudWatch metric & also related price tiers
• Knowledge of BMO Products would be an asset
• Experience in automation. Writing scripts in Python, workflows in Typescript, Jupiter Notebooks, etc.
• Implement RESTful API services in any web framework
• Understanding of API Authentication protocols
