Cyber Security Engineer

Royal London is expanding its cybersecurity team and is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to maintain and improve the security infrastructure. The role involves providing 2nd line support for cybersecurity technologies, resolving incidents, and ensuring system uptime. Candidates should be passionate about cybersecurity and eager to advance their career in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and methodical problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and a dedicated work ethic
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with effective communication
• Hands-on experience with cyber security platforms (EDR, SIEM, IPS, WAF, DLP, Identity & Data Management, Network Security)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with ticketing platforms (ServiceNow)
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell)
• Experience within a regulated environment (Financial services)
• Stay updated with industry best practices
