Data Engineer - Insurance Data Services

Job Summary: Data Engineer - Insurance Data Services. Performs analysis on structured, unstructured, and semi-structured raw data, utilizing programming skills to standardize and organize data. Supports project team to scale, monitor and operate data platforms for a very high availability, high performing, and regulatory supporting application.

Requirements

• Experience with Big Data, Hive, Spark, Pyspark, Databases and SQL language.
• Working experience with Trino / Tableau, ETL and reporting concept.
• Working knowledge of Cloudera and Unix and windows environment.
• Working knowledge of Python/Spark.
• IT Standards, Methodologies, SDLC, Information Security & audit requirements.
• Knowledge on creating formal written deliverables and other documentation and ensure design, code and documents are aligned with enterprise direction, principles and standards.
• Working knowledge of JCL/Zeke/OMS.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow Incident and Change Management.
• Working knowledge of Helios/Github for Source Code Management.
• Working knowledge of Reporting.
• Insurance industry knowledge
