Database Designer (Remote - US)

This remote position is for a Database Designer working with a modern, high-performance Oracle database within a secure, cloud-native architecture. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases for a unified platform, supporting data migration, and collaborating with various teams to ensure security standards are met. This position is critical for modernizing a government program and enabling reliable operations.

Requirements

• US citizenship
• Public Trust or IT II Security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Database Management, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in database design, development, or administration
• Security+ CE or IAT Level II certification
• Proficiency with Oracle database systems, SQL/PLSQL development, and relational database design
• Familiarity with data modeling, entity-relationship diagrams, and ETL processes for data migration
• Understanding of database security, access control, encryption, and compliance with federal/DoD standards
• Basic experience with Agile development tools (Jira, GitLab, ServiceNow)
