Software Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team working on a data-driven stream processing platform that connects customers to their cloud environment and enables high-volume data streaming. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust solutions, contributing to product development, and ensuring quality and scalability of ServiceNow applications. Requirements

• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with multiple technology stacks (Cloud Dev, Platforms, Web Dev, Frameworks or service–oriented architecture)
• 2+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
• Experience with event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
• Analytical and design skills
• Working knowledge and ability to use tools such as IDEs, debuggers, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools
