Database Engineer - Query Tuning - Postgres

ServiceNow is seeking a Database Engineer - Query Tuning - Postgres to join their SWAT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in database technologies, performance analysis, and troubleshooting skills. They will work in a fast-paced environment to support the infrastructure and platforms.

Requirements

• 0-2+ years of Database performance tuning on PostgreSQL / MySQL / MariaDB
• 0-2+ years of experience supporting or testing large-scale web-based distributed applications
• 0-2+ years of hands-on experience working on a SaaS, PaaS, or Cloud Infrastructure product/solution
• Unix skills: including development, navigation, file manipulation, permissions, searching/finding files and text contents, and administrative actions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies
