We’re looking for a proactive, commercially-minded Finance Operations Manager to lead our Credit Control and Query Management function. This is a pivotal role within our Finance Operations team, driving the effectiveness and integrity of the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.
Requirements
- Lead the credit control team to achieve cash and overdue debt targets
- Drive aged debt reduction, maintain weekly Top 50 Debtors reporting, and provide cashflow insights
- Ensure timely allocation, remittances, customer statements, and escalate risks impacting month-end
- Oversee the query process in ServiceNow, ensuring efficient triage and resolution
- Reduce aged queries, escalate blockers, and maintain strong credit note governance
- Partner with Billing and Sales to ensure timely, accurate invoicing
- Address root causes of credit notes, monitor unallocated credits, and minimise accrued revenue
- Accountable for the full lifecycle from order entry to cash collection
- Remove process bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement across billing, collections, and renewals
- Coach and develop the Credit Operations Lead and Credit Control team
- Set KPIs, drive performance, and foster a culture of accountability and ownership
- Maintain clean, audit-ready ledgers and oversee allocation performance
- Deliver clear reporting on aged debt, cash performance, credit notes, queries, billing backlog, and orders on hold
