FinOps Engineer

As a FinOps Engineer, you will help to drive cost optimisation and efficiency in cloud environments, by continually aligning FinOps capabilities to continuously optimise spend and deliver maximum value from their public cloud investment.

Requirements

• Examine, analyse, prioritise cloud cost optimisation recommendations and calculate potential savings and benefits using FinOps tools
• Implement rate and usage optimisations within public cloud environments (Azure, AWS and GCP)
• Guide our customers in making cost-effective architectural decisions
• Communicate FinOps principles to key stakeholders with our customers
• Collaborate with managed services teams to design and implement cost optimisations recommendations and best practices
• Build and manage a backlog on cost-saving initiatives
• Architect and develop automation runbooks to help drive cloud cost efficiencies, along with continual development of Policy as Code initiatives, further bolstering Cloud Cost Governance
