At Lilly, we are seeking a Full-Stack Automation Software Engineer to join the Tech Enablement team. The ideal candidate will have experience in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and full-stack automation. The role involves developing scalable infrastructure automation and reusable automation patterns between enterprise platforms. The successful candidate will work on IT service transformation projects with global impact, using agile methodologies and fostering innovation.

Requirements

  • Experience in design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services, microservices, RESTful APIs and event-driven automation using languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java
  • Experience in front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
  • Experience in design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and containerization platforms
  • Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) (ex. ServiceNow) and scrum methodology (ex. Jira)
  • Consistent track record of high quality, agile focused, team-based solution delivery
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and ability to communicate and work closely with other teams
  • Proactive approach to create comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, automation scripts, and troubleshooting guides
