Abacus Technology is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshooting for Army IT systems, networks, and end-user computing devices at Fort Bragg. This is a full-time position focused on hardware, software, and system administration tasks. The role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems for end-users.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and user account management
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (desired)
- Security+ certification (or equivalent certification)
- MCSA or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date
- ITIL Foundations certification desired
- Proficient in domain configurations, user account management, and troubleshooting of enterprise IT systems
- Strong understanding of network connectivity, wireless access troubleshooting, and IT security best practices
- Experience in configuring, installing, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals
- Able to coordinate with vendors and escalate issues
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Army-specific ticketing systems
- Familiar with Army IT security policies, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting techniques
- US citizenship and current Secret clearance
