Infrastructure Monitoring Analyst

Peraton is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Analyst to provide first-level network and IT infrastructure event monitoring and event management in a 24 x 7 operations environment. The analyst will be responsible for comparing and correlating events from multiple sources, maintaining accurate incident records, and initiating appropriate actions to avoid or minimize loss of IT services.

Requirements

• High School level plus some advanced training
• 4-5 years of experience
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Security+CE required
• Familiarity with ITIL (certification preferred)
• Technically competent
• Strong critical-thinking skills that facilitate expedient problem solving
• Basic familiarity with common network monitoring tools (i.e. Splunk, SolarWinds)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow is preferred
• Excellent communication, customer service, time management, conflict resolution, and problem determination/resolution skills are a must
