IT Technician

Peraton is seeking an IT Technician to join their team in the National Airspace System (NAS) as a trusted advisor and technical authority. This role involves providing technical support for installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software, ensuring FAA compliance, and supporting modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in shaping the future of U.S. airspace safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Public Trust Clearance (Must obtain or maintain)
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience or Master’s degree and 6 years of experience or High school diploma/equivalent and 14 years experience
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and user account management
• Knowledge of endpoint security and vulnerability remediation
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
• Experience supporting FAA NextGen modernization programs or NAS-related IT environments
