Network Operations Tier II Manager

Peraton is seeking a Network Operations Tier II Manager to support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) network management support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing 2nd shift NOC Tier 1 & 2 Analysts, ensuring network stability and security, and collaborating with the Operations Manager to provide exceptional service to the CBP customer.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of work experience
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a CBP Public Trust
• 6+ years of experience in a NOC environment providing Tier II support
• Working knowledge of OSI Model Layers 1-3
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network technologies
• Familiarity with network security devices, IPsec VPNs, routing, switching, VRF, VLANs, bandwidth utilization, and load balancers
• Experience using Wireshark, Syslog, Netscout, and SteelCentral to monitor, capture, mine, and interpret data
• Proven experience troubleshooting, upgrading, and implementing Cisco switches and routers
• Experience troubleshooting, upgrading, and implementing Cisco ASA Firewalls
• Experience troubleshooting, upgrading, and implementing F5 Load Balancers
• Experience writing firewall rules, NAT configurations, and IPsec communications
• Ability to manage, audit, and deploy network device configurations via HPNA
• Experience using trouble-ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy
• Knowledge of Incident, Change, Problem, and Request management practices
