The Operations Technician III will work within Lumen's Professional Services Control Center (PSCC), addressing complex network problems and providing mentoring and training to technicians on the team.
Requirements
- Understanding of Optical DWDM Transport Equipment (Infinera, Alcatel, Nokia, or Ciena 6500/Waveserver)
- Experience supporting transport products (Dark Fiber, Waves, etc.)
- Network Management Systems (i.e. DNA, Navigator, MCP, Site Manager, Netflex, etc.)
- Raman Amps
- Alarm Monitoring Systems (i.e. RFM, Solarwinds, Netcool)
- Ability to follow processes in ticketing platform (Ops Console, Remedy, ServiceNow)
- Understanding of circuit designs and inventory systems (XLRs, DLRs, CLRs)
- Troubleshooting technology solutions
- Putty, WinSCP, vBrowser, Secure CRT, etc.
