Precisely Software is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to enable customers to integrate IBM i and IBM Z operational data into observability platforms. This role focuses on bridging legacy infrastructure with distributed IT systems to unlock insights from large system data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system configuration, customer presentation, and collaboration to provide accurate demonstrations of the Ironstream solution.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of IBM i and IBM Z environments
- Experience with observability platforms (Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, ServiceNow)
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-mainframe audiences
- Familiarity with Ironstream configuration, filtering, and deployment options
- Comfort leading customer-facing engagements using remote implementation skills
