ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Observability and Operations Data Platform group. This role involves leading a team focused on real-time analytics, anomaly detection, and data insights, working within an Agile environment with forward-thinking developers. The manager will define team strategy, foster AI-first development, and partner with other teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; 8+ years with a master’s degree; or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of team management experience, including providing feedback and driving strategies
- 2+ years of proven experience leading AI-driven teams and shaping AI adoption strategies
- Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving
- Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency and productivity
- Strong technical skills in streaming engines and multiple database types (time-series, key-value, and RDBMS)
- Proficiency in writing efficient, object-oriented, modular, and high-quality software, with knowledge of unit testing, profiling, and performance tuning
- Experience in the design and implementation of large, scalable environments; familiarity with Kubernetes-based applications is a plus
