Senior Specialist, IT Infrastructure - Endurance Racing

The Senior Specialist in IT Infrastructure is responsible for supporting and improving the IT systems underpinning McLaren's Endurance Racing operations. This role focuses on ensuring robust, reliable, and high-performance IT systems, including hardware, software, networking, and application troubleshooting, both at the factory and at race events worldwide. The position involves close collaboration with racing, technical, and operational departments to deliver IT needs and support business-as-usual (BAU) support.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure engineering within motorsport or a similar demanding environment.
• Strong technical background in networking, server/storage, virtualization, and enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting hybrid and remote working environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management principles.
• Experience with service desk tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice).
• Ability to analyze data and produce meaningful reports.
• Experience with motorsport applications (Motion Applied suite desirable).
