ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Data Engineer to join the Cloud Analytics & FinOps Engineering Platform team. The role focuses on architecting, implementing, and optimizing a modern, scalable data platform for ServiceNow's FinOps governance platform, serving as the primary FinOps engineering point of contact. The team aims to drive technical leadership and establish ServiceNow as a thought leader in the FinOps space.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering
- Expert-level proficiency with distributed data systems and cloud-native architecture
- Expert-level proficiency with modern data stack technologies: dbt, Trino/Presto, Apache Airflow, and Apache Iceberg
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with query optimization
- Hands-on experience with cloud cost management, FinOps data analysis, and showback/chargeback system implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
