Senior Staff Enterprise Architect, AI Search

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect, AI Search to lead the next phase of AI-powered search for their customer and employee needs. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, intelligent search systems, focusing on relevance, accuracy, and personalization, leveraging modern search architectures and AI models like RAG. The role requires collaboration with product, platform, and AI teams and a focus on data integration and pipeline optimization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in search architecture, information retrieval, or AI/ML
• Deep understanding of search ranking techniques
• Proven experience building RAG pipelines
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and search technologies
• Hands-on experience with search engines (Elasticsearch, etc.)
• Expertise in NLP, LLMs, embedding generation
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with data pipelines (Kafka, Airflow, Spark)
• Understanding of multi-lingual search
• Familiarity with Observability and metrics
