The Site Reliability Engineer will develop technical solutions for a single product and/or participate in complex projects, with a focus on reliability and stability. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing new software, and providing technical support to operations or other development teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux, Windows administration
  • Experience in working on any public cloud like AWS, Azure
  • Proficiency in the following general areas: Java (Java 1.7/Java 1.8), Javascript, Python, Jenkins, ServiceNow, MSTFS/ADO and/or Github experience providing technical support to Enterprise networks
  • Good understanding of database technologies
  • Programming/Scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Powershell, Java / J2EE, HTML
  • Experience working with logging tools (ex- Logstash and/or Kibana) and monitoring tools like Datadog
  • Security
  • Hands on experience in implementing an DevOps pipeline using Jenkins and the AWS CI / CD tool sets
  • A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
