Okta is seeking a Staff Identity Security Engineer to join their Security Identity and Access Management (IGA) team. This role focuses on maturing IGA, delivering IdaaS solutions, and safeguarding Okta's internal and external customers. The role requires a passionate individual with a deep understanding of identity security principles and a commitment to collaboration and innovation. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern authentication protocols, IAM solutions, and access management infrastructure resilience.

Requirements

  • CISSP, CCSP, OKTA Administrator, OKTA Workflows specialty
  • Extensive IAM experience (5+ years)
  • Deep IAM domain knowledge (ILM, CIAM, PAM, SSO, MFA)
  • Expertise in IAM capabilities (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, ABAC, PBAC, RBAC)
  • Practical IGA integration experience (SaaS/on-premise)
  • PAM for Service Accounts
  • Collaboration Tool Proficiency (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, GitHub)
  • Agile Methodologies
