Thrive is seeking a vCIO to manage client relationships, build trust, and provide strategic technical and security vision. This executive partner role involves both client-facing interactions and working directly with internal teams to support clients in mitigating risk and increasing productivity. The vCIO will deliver presentations, assessments, and maintain technical competence to ensure operational health and competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Most recent five years + experience in a similar technical advisory, consulting, or IT Director/Manager oriented role.
  • ITIL fluency or certification a plus
  • Demonstrated presentation skills, including confidence and comfort in video calls and in front of audiences
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with senior-level executives
  • Strong leadership skills - Clients’ must value your advice
  • Experience supporting Private Equity backed companies or working directly with/for PE firms managing technology or security operations
  • IT due diligence individual contributor.
  • Center for Internet Security, CIS Critical Security Controls framework familiarity or similar (NIST)
  • Experience working in ServiceNow, Salesforce, Kaseya, FortiManager are all a plus

Requirements Summary

5+ years of experience in technical advisory/consulting. ITIL/CIS certification is a plus. Strong presentation/interpersonal skills and leadership abilities are essential
